Yeah. From last to third. It's... probably safe to say something significant happened, but we don't know what it was.

The teams that dropped may have had fewer opportunities.

[It's easier to rise on diligence if the others are also being less productive. The adventure is a good guess.]

Of course, there's no clear-cut answer between the two of us.

Right. There were only... eight of us that were on one of those adventures? So it's a limited resource if it is helping with nova gathering.

You were found in a tube. What happened before that?

Ooze monsters.

Did you fight them?

There wasn't anything to fight them with, we had to run.

[ ... ] I threw a pillow at it? It slowed it down.

How did you end up in the tube?

I don't know. We got to the top of the building and... I thought we were going to die, honestly. But we got these searing headaches and passed out.

[ she shrugs ]

When I woke up, I was with Blanca and Hansa in town? Everyone was gathered around, so I assume we'd just emerged. I don't remember anything after passing out.

Unlike the other group, you didn't find anything . . .

[chanteuser]

Not physically, no. But one of the monsters did speak to us. Even if it was difficult to make out what was being said.

What did it say?

"Do you believe you can change destiny?"

"Time has already been written... There's nothing you can do now, is there? Except try again. But you'll never make it..."

"Not yet. But remember, this is your last chance."

... I'm pretty sure that was it.

[That was a very talkative ooze monster, wasn't it?]

[ yeah. he chatted a bit. sora and alex lowkey panicked but tried to listen. ]

It's pretty cryptic.

What do you make of it?

Other than "I can barely hear what it's saying", and "ow oh god my head"... I didn't get to think on it a lot, honestly.

. . . There's suspicion among some of us that this isn't the first time the Realm has destabilized.

Like a cycle?

Yes. If this is happening now, there's nothing to say that it didn't happen before.

Yeah, I've heard that theory before. We don't have a lot prove it, but enough to make you think it could be possible.

Have you mentioned it to your Leader?

[chanteuser]

I can? But I’m not sure how much they’re able to tell us without their own rules kicking in.

Still, as long as they don’t push themselves to answer, it can’t hurt to ask...
